Coconut coir bags contain 800gm of shredded coconut fibre imported from Sri Lanka for use in worm farming and composting/gardening, etc. It is close to pH neutral (c. 6.7) and holds moisture effectively. Each bag will provide roughly 8L of fibre mix once moistened to around 30%, sufficient for the average domestic worm farm or mix into a soil mix at around 20% per 40L.
