Description
For use in the garden to determine the pH content of your soil.
Take a teaspoon (5ml) of soil and dilute in a container of around 5ml rainwater. Shake and dip the paper into the solution – looking for mild acidity around 6.4 ideally. If too acid amend soil with lime or dolomite (extra magnesium). See Dolomite under Gardens – Fertilisers.
For individual use to determine your personal acid/alkali balance.
Test urine midstream and check against chart provided. Look for mild acidity to neutral range as an indicator of good health. Similar level to soil around 6.4 is generally pretty good.
